It is now three wins in a row for East Thurrock, who have moved up to 8th place in the table.
It was a nightmare start for the hosts, as a mix up in the defence led to the Rocks falling behind within two minutes.
After 18 minutes, they had parity as Ross Barnes fizzed in a low cross, which was swept into the far corner by Harry Salter, his first goal for the Rocks.
On the half hour mark, tempers flared when Ross Barnes collided with the Alresford keeper after challenging for a loose ball. This was to remain until half time, but Bobby Reeman was sin-bined before the break arrived.
The second period started lively, with Tommy Bruley denying the visitors, and Ross Barnes dug out and effort that came within inches of giving the Rocks the lead.
He was not to be denied however, as Harry Prince slid in Barnes, who took it round the defenders and fired the ball into the corner in the final 20 minutes.
The pair nearly combined again minutes later, as Barnes shot was millimetres away from Prince at the back post. The Rocks would have chances to seal the win, as Barnes and Prince broke through on the left, but both were denied by strong blocks from the Alresford keeper.
Despite this, there Rocks held out to win a 3rd game in a row and in style at home this season. The Rocks are away to Dedham next weekend, looking to continue this charge up the table and extend their good run of form.
