We wanted to give you an update on our public meeting which will be held at The New Courthouse, 39 King St, Stanford-le-Hope SS17 0HJ on Wednesday 10th January at 7:30pm. As we have two exciting guest speakers to announce:
Richard Irving, Football Supporters’ Association
He supports Community-Owned Clubs in setting up and their journey moving forward. He will talk about about community ownership and its benefits.
John Coventry
The most successful manager in East Thurrock United’s history with extensive experience of non league football. He will speak about what goes into running a football club behind the scenes and why volunteers are so important.

This meeting is not about East Thurrock United or what happened in the past. We were all passionate fans of ETUFC but our involvement was limited to assisting on match days. The members of the East Thurrock Community Football Club working group will talk about the exciting future we have ahead of us as a fan-run football club. We will cover how the organisation will be structured, how it will be financed, how you can be involved and more. After we have presented we will take questions on the future of the club.
