At East Thurrock Community Football Club, the safety and wellbeing of every child and young person involved in our club is our highest priority. We are fully committed to providing a safe, positive and inclusive environment where all players can enjoy football, develop their skills, and build confidence.
We believe that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Coaches, volunteers, parents, carers and players all play a vital role in creating a culture where children feel safe, valued and listened to.
Our Commitment
East Thurrock Community FC is committed to:
- Providing a safe and welcoming environment for all young players
- Promoting respect, fair play and positive behaviour
- Ensuring all coaches and volunteers understand their safeguarding responsibilities
- Responding promptly and appropriately to any safeguarding concerns
- Encouraging children and parents to speak up if something doesn’t feel right
We adopt best practice safeguarding guidance in line with national football standards and expect all members to uphold these values at all times.
